Go Green Campaign At Bhavan’s Haldia

Bhavan’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Vidyaniketan, Haldia, is in the forefront again as the school successfully hosted Go Green Campaign – an environment awareness campaign as well as an Inter-school Quiz, exclusively on environment, on 1^st August, 2018. Vinisha, an initiative by children on environment awareness joined hands with Bhavan’sHaldia to hold such a lively interactive session with the students that it was unique and for the first time the school children of Haldia witnessed and took part in this type of novel initiation.

Deputy Chairman, Kolkata Port Trust (Haldia Dock Complex), Mr. G. Senthilvel and Haldia Municipality Chairman, Mr. Shyamal Adak praised this initiative and the host school for holding such awareness campaign in Haldia and promised all kind of help to the school for any such upcoming campaigns. Bhavan’s Haldia won the 1st prize in Quiz and Vivekananda Missson,Haldia took away the Runners’ Up trophy. All total 7,001 neem seeds were planted as part of the campaign and the dignitaries, teachers and students were gifted seeds and saplings as part of the Go Green drive.
